LE SSERAFIM Go "Crazy" in Comeback Music Video

LE SSERAFIM Go "Crazy" in Comeback Music Video

The group LE SSERAFIM is back with its new song "CRAZY" in six months. The group has overcome the controversy and stood in front of the public in a new way.

LE SSERAFIM made a comeback with its fourth mini album "CRAZY" at 1 p.m. on August 30th. The title track of the album with the same title, "CRAZY," is an EDM-based house genre that LE SSERAFIM is introducing for the first time, and the chorus is especially addictive. Repeated lyrics such as "Crazy" and "Da da da da da" are catchy. Unique lyrics naming Pikachu and Otaku also drew attention.

Source Music has chosen a safe yet strategic path. It has always been one step away from the concept of poison. In the meantime, LE SSERAFIM has learned to make theirs many concepts. Many people are paying attention to whether LE SSERAFIM, who has been embroiled in controversy over singing, will showcase their new abilities.

LE SSERAFIM's unique color still lingers. With this album, LE SSERAFIM maintained its identity while showing a new side of the group. The title song is hip, powerful, and even esoteric. The choreography incorporating the vogging genre also adds a unique feel. The challenge part was chosen as the part where core strength is important. The dance that fits the name "Challenge" encouraged participation in short-form contents. From hip-hop style "Pierrot" to "Why I Can't Go Crazy" where emotional vocals stand out, LE SSERAFIM added variety to the songs in various genres.

The title song "CRAZY," which they will perform mainly in music programs, is not a song that requires singing ability. The song consists of the range and melody that is easy to sing by LE SSERAFIM, who performs dynamic and powerful performances. The song mainly focuses on rap. Kim Chaewon, who mainly performs vocal parts, demonstrated a wide musical spectrum by performing the introductory rap part.

LE SSERAFIM has gone head-to-head with the controversy ahead of its comeback. They acknowledged and bowed their heads, from the controversy over Coachella's singing ability to the controversy over Hong Eunchae's "student mockery." At the comeback showcase held on the 29th, leader Kim Chaewon directly mentioned the Coachella stage in April. "There were many things I felt sorry about the Coachella stage, but I learned a lot and realized it personally as a team," she said. "After debuting, I stood on many stages in a short time, but it was my first time at a big outdoor festival, so I think I was very excited and couldn't control my pace."

"I realized that I have a lot to learn and experience. I think it will be our lifelong task to show better performances," she said. "We talked about showing better performances. I think this album is the first step."

The public, who turned their back, is returning one by one to the image of LE SSERAFIM, who is facing the controversy head on. Voices have grown louder that it is not an offense, and that it is too much to criticize anymore as the group has promised to admit and perform better.

If this comeback proves their growth, LE SSERAFIM will be able to make the narrative into their own story, not just a simple concept.
