WJSN's "As You Wish" Reaches First Place for Five Consecutive Years on the First Day of the New Year

"As You Wish," the main song of WJSN, has become an annual song. It topped the music charts for five consecutive years on New Year's Day.

According to Starship Entertainment on the 1st, WJSN's "As You Wish" topped the real-time charts such as Melon, Genie, and Bugs as of 1 a.m. on the same day, it performed well on the charts all day, ranking 43rd on the real-time Melon chart as of 8 p.m. on the same day.

"As You Wish" was released in November 2019. It contains the honest feelings of a girl who is about to confess. The dreamy vocal line and the melody of the chorus that seems to make spells are impressive.

It features hopeful lyrics such as "Now only good things / As you wish / As you get the feeling", "As you wish / Everything will come true / I will find the light in the dark night".

Thanks to the lyrics and bright melody, the song is not missing from the list of song recommendations that are good to listen to at the beginning of the year. As if to prove listeners' interest, the song topped the music charts by climbing the charts every New Year's Day for five consecutive years from 2020 to this year.

Through Starship, WJSN said, "I would like to thank many people who have been with 'As You Wish' for the beginning of 2022. I hope you achieve all your wishes this year like the song 'As You Wish'."

They added, "I'm happy to deliver hope and support for the new year to the public through 'As You Wish' every year, and I will continue to work hard to become the WJSN members who can give positive influence to many people through various activities."

Since its official debut with "MoMoMo" in 2016, WJSN has released hit songs such as "Secret," "Happy," "Save Me, Save You," "As You Wish," "As You Wish," and "Unnatural." The group also formed units "WJSN's Chocome" and "WJSN's The Black." In particular, it showed off its potential by winning the title at the cable music channel Mnet's music entertainment program "Queendom 2," which aired in June last year.

The group is currently active in various fields such as acting, musical, and entertainment. Member Seola will release her first solo album in the team eight years after her debut on the 23rd.
