NewJeans Unveils the Korean Version of "Supernatural"

The Korean version of NewJeans' Japanese debut title song "Supernatural" has been released.

NewJeans posted "Supernatural" music video Part.2 on HYBE Brands' YouTube channel at midnight on July 5. It is the follow-up to Part.1, which was released on June 21.

In the music video Part. 2, you can listen to the Japanese singing part of "Supernatural" in Korean lyrics. In addition, the story line hidden in the music video Part.1 is expressed with unique ideas and speech methods unique to NewJeans, stimulating viewers' imagination.

Paranormal phenomena centered around the members suggest the identity of NewJeans in the music video. The phrases such as "News: Increasing Unidentified Unique Creatures" on the TV screen are significant. Based on these clues, global fans are enjoying the music video with various speculative interpretations.

They are rumored to have a documentary on Netflix!

"Supernatural" continues to perform well on domestic and international charts such as Japan and Korea.

The single "Supernatural" ranked fourth for the second consecutive week in Japan's Oricon weekly combined singles ranking (July 8/June 24-30). The title song "Supernatural" ranked 11th in weekly streaming and 15th in weekly digital singles. The song is also ranked high in major Japanese music charts, including 16th in Spotify Japan's "Daily Top Song" and 15th in Apple Music's "Top 100."

The popularity of the Tokyo Dome fan meeting also led to the reverse of the Korean music charts. "Supernatural" held the throne for two consecutive days on the Bugs daily chart (July 2-3), and soared to eighth place on Melon's "Top 100" (as of 10 p.m. on the 4th). The song "Right Now" is also on the chart, making both of them popular.

Meanwhile, NewJeans attracted a total of 91,200 spectators at the Tokyo Dome fan meeting "Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome" held from the 26th to the 27th of last month. With the members' solo performances heating up online and continuing the lingering effects of the fan meeting, NewJeans will appear on Nippon TV's "THE MUSIC DAY 2024" tomorrow (6th).
