On July 8th, YTN Korea reported that former labelmates HyunA and Yong Junhyung are expected to tie the knot in October, seven months since making announcing their relationship in public.
According to YTN, through an insider, “They have been friends for a long time and understand well the hardships of life in the entertainment industry, and their faith and trust are strong through mutual comfort and empathy. After recently becoming a couple, I think they decided to get married because they were confident in their love."
HyunA debuted as a member of the girl group 4MINUTE in 2009, while Yong Junhyung also launched his career as a member of B2ST in the same year, under the same agency Cube Entertainment. The pair garnered fame in their respective careers and even launched collaborative projects in the past. Years after both have left the agency, last January, they surprised the public by suddenly uploading couple photos that confirm their romantic relationship.
Regarding their rumored marriage, Yong Jungyung's agency cautiously told media outlets that they are checking the facts and will release an official statement at a later date.
