TWICE's Nayeon Opens Up About Feeling Pressured Because of Her Previous Album

Group TWICE's Nayeon expressed her feelings about receiving a lot of love from her previous album.

At a press conference for the second mini-album "NA" held at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel & Served Residence in Sincheon-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 13th, Nayeon said, "The whole album was so loved that I felt burdened."

Nayeon released her first mini-album, "Im Nayeon", in June 2022 and became the first soloist of TWICE. With her first solo album, she ranked 7th on the Billboard 200 in the U.S. and had a long run on top of various music websites in Korea.

Nayeon said, "When I was preparing for the previous album, it was a bit burdensome as it marked the first start of my solo career as TWICE, but it achieved good results, more than I thought. In fact, I didn't expect that my solo activities or Pop! would be loved by many people because it was TWICE's first album. Thank you."

Nayeon will appear on Amazing Saturday this week.

Nayeon then said, "Since the previous album was loved a lot, I was burdened by whether this album would be loved, but I tried to enjoy it as much as possible. Since the focus is on the group's activities, I'm preparing to enjoy this time of being a solo artist while cherishing it."

Nayeon's new album, "NA" which is released after about two years, is Nayeon's "NA" and "Only Me!" in a lovely sense, showing the confidence to show herself as a solo.

Nayeon's second mini-album, "NA," will be released on various online music sites at 1 p.m. on the 14th.
