On June 21st, the Seoul Northern District Court's 11th Civil Division ruled in favor of LOONA members Choerry, Heejin, Jinsoul, and Kim Lip in their case against former agency Blockberry Creative regarding the non-existence of their exclusive contracts valued at 200 million won, or approximately 145K USD.
This lawsuit was filed with the court in March 2023, and due to Blockberry Creative's inaction, a ruling was made without a pleading. The embattled agency eventually responded late, leading to the first pleading on December 2023. The pleadings were eventually completed after two more rounds.
Before this, the four LOONA members had already won a lawsuit for a temporary injunction to suspend their exclusive contract, as a result, the restrictions on their entertainment activities had disappeared. They were able to debut once again, this time as ARTMS under MODHAUS, along with member Haseul.
