On the day of Jaehyun's enlistment, NCT 127's official SNS accounts revealed heartwarming photos of the members who gathered together to send him off. Members Johnny, Doyoung, Ten, Jungwoo, and even their leader Taeyong, who is currently serving in the military, posed mischievously by putting their hands on Jaehyun's buzzcut hair.

Jaehyun debuted as a member of NCT in 2016. He is a member of the group's sub-units NCT U, NCT 127, and NCT Dojaejung. He is also known as an 'acting idol' after starring in dramas and movies like 'Dear.M' and '6 Hours Later You Die'. In August of this year, Jaehyun released 'J', his first solo EP. Just last month, he released his new single 'Unconditional' and met fans through his first solo fan con at the Seoul Olympic Handball Stadium.
As announced by NCT's agency, SM Entertainment, Jaehyun will be enlisting as an active-duty soldier and will be part of the renowned Army Military Band. His scheduled discharge date will be on May 3, 2026.
Meanwhile, NCT 127 will be meeting fans in 2025 with their fourth world tour 'NEO CITY - THE MOMENTUM'. The concert will kick off on January 18-19, 2025 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul and will have 14 stops in America and Asia.
