2nd Generation idol group slash pop-rock band CNBLUE, composed of the trio Yonghwa, Minhyuk, and Jungshin, earned praise for their quick response and concern to fans during an emergency.
On September 26, CNBLUE performed at Kyunghee University Seoul Campus for their Fall Festival. In the middle of their set, one student from the audience lost consciousness. When the members onstage noticed the commotion among the crowd, leader Yonghwa stopped their performance, asked if the student was okay, and quickly coordinated with the staff to take care of the collapsed student. As the staff rushed over to help, Yonghwa explained the situation to the audience and asked them to help and make way.
Minhyuk and Jungshin moved closer to the front and checked on the audience, then threw their water bottles at the crowd so anyone who needed water could drink them. Yonghwa even came down from the stage and went to the ambulance to check the student's condition, as seen in the clip below.

Fan-taken videos started circulating online and everyone can't help but praise CNBLUE members for handling the situation calmly despite the emergency and that they must've been shocked themselves. A fan posted her video online with the caption:
"This happened in their previous Japan Zepp tour where people also collapsed, so I thought they would just be calm about it, but they even went to the ambulance to check up on them. And look at the CNBLUE members who responded to the audience so that there will be no more accidents. That's really humanity that goes beyond experience. I'm surprised again... I'm falling in love again."
또 반한다. pic.twitter.com/qOf3W8RGtM

- I've been a fan of this man for 12 years and there was not a day that had passed by that I'm not proud of him. His genuine care for people around him says a lot about what kind of person he is. He’s truly one of a kind.
- I appreciate this genuine concern for ensuring everyone's, safety. Someone must have fainted during the concert so they checked up on the other attendees to see if anyone else was unwell. Even giving out water and saying it's for ppl who really needs it
- Even Minhyuk left his place to go and ensure everything was being handled. Man, I love them.
- We stan the right band!
- Please be careful, everyone... May the student get better soon!
CNBLUE debuted as a quartet in 2010 with their 1st mini-album 'Bluetory'. Idol rock bands were not common back then, and the group shot to fame with their hit song 'I'm A Loner'. Known for their distinct musicality and versatility plus great performances, they have become a standard for 'idol bands' for the newer generation.
Meanwhile, CNBLUE will be making a comeback after three years for their 10th mini-album 'X' on October 14.
