While Min Heejin, former CEO of ADOR, received public support from the members of NewJeans during the legal battle with HYBE, A, a former employee of ADOR, once again publicly attacked Min for covering up the sexual harassment while she was CEO.
"I still haven't received an apology at all. Min Heejin intervened in the investigation to cover up the reports of sexual harassment and harassment at work, released my Kakao Talk without consent, spread false information, and abused employees behind the scenes," A said on their personal social network service (SNS) on the 28th.
"When I asked for an open apology, the answer came back to me, including the disclosure of my salary, saying I couldn't work, that I was with HYBE, that I enjoyed drinking," A said, adding, "It's shocking that many people believe and support the story of a person who consistently ignores the lie that they were neutral or that I was fired for not working."
A said, "I thought she would at least reflect," adding, "But it's awful that there's no sign of repentance and my aide's deputy is filing a criminal complaint against me after burying it as if it didn't happen."
A claims that they suffered harassment and sexual harassment from an executive when they were serving as an assistant. A also drew attention by claiming that Min covered up everything. On the other hand, Min issued an 18-page statement explaining that it was groundless.
Earlier on the 27th, former CEO Min spoke for about 100 minutes as a lecturer at the "2024 Hyundai Card Da Vinci Motel" held in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, hosted by Hyundai Card at 9 p.m. on the 27th. Former ADOR CEO Min is engaged in a legal battle with HYBE, the parent company, over the process of dismissing the CEO of ADOR and the alleged embezzlement of management rights. Although HYBE recently proposed a compromise to Min and NewJeans to maintain her position as an in-house director instead of refusing to return to the CEO position, Min and NewJeans did not accept it. In this regard, former CEO Min revealed HYBE's handling process through interviews with media outlets, and HYBE is confronting Min, saying her remarks are "false claims."
"I will win (the fight). I am innocent," Min said at the lecture event, reiterating that she has no intention of giving up her position. "If management and production are separated, there is no point in doing this," she said. "I have never said that I will leave the company (ADOR). Our (NewJeans) members who share the same thoughts with me will also feel unfair."
"This is a rare incident," she said. "I will make sure to film a documentary. I will reveal the whole process," she said, solidifying that she has no intention of backing down.
NewJeans members are also openly cheering for the lecture. Min also released messages of support from the members before and after the lecture.
