YG Entertainment's new group BabyMonster drew favorable reviews from the U.S. Billboard with its first full-length album with musical perfection.
On the 1st (local time), the U.S. music media Billboard said, "BabyMonster decorated this year with its first full-length album full of attractive songs," adding, "These music that cross genres and languages are the driving force behind the expansion of K-pop's global influence."
Billboard praised the members' musical capabilities and potential and described them as "the most promising K-pop newcomers of 2024."
All seven members surprise everyone with "CLIK CLAK," which challenged rapping, while appreciating Ruka and Asa's extraordinary originality through the lyrics of "Woke Up In Tokyo."
In addition, it deals with the overwhelming influence and popularity of the group on YouTube, predicting good performance in the future. The DRIP music video, which was released on the 1st, went straight to the top of the "most viewed video in 24 hours" and currently has 18.84 million views, while the pre-released double title song "Clik Clak" has exceeded 26.87 million views.
