Introduction

Aria was the seventh sub-unit of the girl group tripleS under MODHAUS. The unit consisted of five members, four of whom were chosen by fans.

On November 18, 2023, a new GRAVITY, titled "Grand Gravity: Ballad Dimension" was announced on the group's official SNS. For this GRAVITY, fans had to vote one out of seven combinations of four members to sing a ballad alongside DaHyun, who was already selected as a member by the agency. The voting took place between November 22 until November 24. The day the voting ended, it was announced that Team D, composed of JiWoo, ChaeYeon, Kaede and Nien, had won the voting and thus, would be the team singing alongside DaHyun.

The name of the unit, Aria, was also chosen through a GRAVITY, this one titled "Event Gravity: Ballad Dimension Name", where fans could vote between nine suggested names from November 28 to November 30.

Aria made their debut on January 15, 2024 with the single album "Structure of Sadness".
