Introduction

BLANK2Y (Korean: 블랭키; Japanese: ブランキー) is a 5 member boy group consisting of DK, Louis, U, Seongjun, and Sodam. They debuted as a 9-member group on May 24th, 2022 with the album K2Y 1: Confidence under Keystone Entertainment.

On February 25, 2023, Youngbin departed from the group due to a dating violence controversy.

On June 27, 2023, it was announced that the members terminated their contracts, however DK, Louis, U, Seongjun, and Soodam, will continue under the name Blank2y, under different agencies, Siwoo and Donghyuk will focus on acting, and Mikey will rest due to health issues.

On August 16, 2023, it was announced that the 5 remaining Blank2y members had signed under DS Entertainment. On October 2, 2023, DS Entertainment announced that members DK, Louis, U, Sungjun, and Sodam are preparing to debut in a new boy group called DV.OL, not an extension of their past activities, hinting that BLANK2Y most probably disbanded.
