Pyo Hye Mi (표혜미; usually recognized as just Hyemi) is a South Korean singer and actress under MEFLEX Entertainment. She is best known as a member of 9MUSES, its sub-group 9MUSES A, and the ballad duo Me:us.
Before Hyemi's official debut, she performed at the Chin Chin Song Festival in May 2009, showcasing her vocal abilities, and later obtained a silver award. In January 2010, Hyemi reportedly signed an agreement under Star Empire Entertainment and debuted as a vocalist in the girl group 9MUSES, with the first single album, "Let's Have A Party" in August of that same year.
In August 2016, Hyemi debuted as a member of 9MUSES's first sub-group, 9MUSES A, with the single album "MUSES DIARY". In October, Hyemi was appointed as the new leader of the group following the departure of Hyuna.
In February 2019, Star Empire announced that 9MUSES had officially disbanded as Hyemi and fellow group members collectively chose to not renew their contracts.
In November 2022, Hyemi signed an exclusive contract with MEFLEX Entertainment to explore her career as an actress advancing under her full name.
In April 2022, Hyemi, alongside former 9MUSES member Hyuna, debuted as a ballad duo Me:us, under A Flat Entertainment, releasing their first single album, "Memories".
On March 21, 2023, it was reported by JTBC that 9MUSES A would be reuniting and making a comeback in May, followed by their parent group between July and August.
