On September 8, 2021, Hyungseo was revealed as a contestant on the MBC's survival show "My Teenage Girl". During the finale, she ranked third place with 217,370.0 votes, thus becoming a member of the girl group CLASS:y. CLASS:y made their debut on May 5, 2022 with the mini album "Class Is Over".
