Introduction

MiU (Korean: 미유; Japanese: みゆ) is a Japanese singer under 143 Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group LIMELIGHT. She is best known for participating in Mnet's reality survival show Girls Planet 999.

She was formerly a tarento under N.D.Promotion and also worked as a model and influencer. But, on early 2021, MiU deactivated her SNS accounts hinting that she had left the agency.

On July 7, 2021, through the prologue teaser, MiU and the other participating trainees were revealed as upcoming contestants on Mnet's newest reality program, Girls Planet 999. July 19, her official profile was released. Regretfully, she was taken out in the show's fifth episode during the first round of eliminations.

On December 24, 2021, 143 Entertainment then announced that MiU has joined their company. On January 14, 2022, it was revealed that MiU was getting ready for her big break that month and would be making her debut with 143 Entertainment's new girl group by the end of the year.

She made her debut as LIMELIGHT's second member on August 12, 2022. They released the EP 'Love & Happiness' on February 17, 2023, marking their debut.
