Lee Naeun is a former member of the girl group April. She debuted on August 24, 2015. On January 30, 2019, DSP Media announced the release of a new single album, which would be sung by a special sub-unit made up of Naeun and Jinsol. On February 7, the single, titled "My Story", was released.
Besides her group activities, Naeun also has roles in A-Teen (2018), A-Teen 2 (2019) and Extraordinary You (2019).
On January 28, 2022, DSP Media announced that April has decided to disband after 6 years and go their separate ways. Following this, in June 2022, it was announced that Naeun would be a full time actress under Namoo Actors.
