Yaochen

Introduction

Yaochen (Chinese: 姚晨; born March 23, 1998) is a Chinese singer and former trainee under JYP Entertainment. He first gained prominence through his participation in the Tencent audition reality show, which led to his debut as a member of the boy band ‘R1SE’, securing 5th place in the final rankings.

Yaochen’s musical journey continued with the release of his debut digital single “NEVERMIND” in December 2020, marking the start of a vigorous solo career. On April 29, 2024, Yaochen expanded his discography with the release of “TURN UP” (Korean ver.), his first official Korean original track.

He is currently signed with FANLING CULTURE, a subsidiary of JYP CHINA. He had his first physical album, further establishing his presence in the music industry.

During his time at JYPE, Yaochen trained alongside the members of the South Korean boy group Stray Kids, with whom he maintains a close friendship.
