"Alpha" is the first full-length album by CL. It will be released on October 20, 2021. The physical album comes in two versions: Mono and Color. "Spicy" was pre-released on August 24 followed by "Lover Like Me" on September 29. The release was originally set for November 30, 2020 but was postpone to 2021 to further improve the album. On July 23, Very Cherry revealed that CL is planning to release it within the summer. On August 13, it was announced that the album would be released in October, along with two pre-release singles.
