Former fromis_9 member Jang Gyuri has found a new agency.

Just Entertainment announced on August 29th the news it signed an exclusive contract with Jang Gyuri, who changed her career from an idol singer to an actress.

Jang Gyuri, who first debuted in fromis_9 through music channel Mnet's girl group nuturing program "Idol School" in 2017, has shown her acting potential by steadily taking challenging acting roles such as in tvN's "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" and tvN web drama "Dating Class." Recently, she has been cast as Tae Chohee in new SBS' Monday-Tuesday drama "Cheer Up" and is currently filming for it. Since she decided on this career as an actress, she reportedly wanted an agency with a lot of experience in acting activities and smooth communication to build a career with.

Just Entertainment was established in 2020 by experts with more than 10 years of experience in Korea's leading management company, and includes notable actors such as Baeksang Arts Award winner and former g.o.d member Yoon Kyesang, Blue Dragon Film Awards winner Kim Sangho, and Squid Game's Kim Jooryeong to name a few.

Jang Gyuri greeted her fans as an offical Just Entertainment actress on August 29th, saying, "I'm going to be with Just Entertainment. From now on, I think I will meet you in various ways as an actor. I ask for your kind cooperation and to look forward to it in the future," she said about her current drama she is filming.

Regarding the recruitment of Jang Gyuri, CEO of Just Entertainment Lee Changoh, said, "We see Jang Gyuri's high potential. I hope that I can pull my weight by building up experience with her as an actress as well as show the lovely charm that the public is currently familiar with regarding Jang Gyuri. As her partner, we will also spare no support for actor Jang Gyuri to continue her active performance on various platforms such as dramas, movies, and streaming following "Cheer Up," so please look forward to it and pay a lot of attention to actor Jang Gyuri's next moves."

SBS's "Cheer Up" is a hot and cool campus mystery romantic comedy of young people gathered in a college cheering squad that is collapsing behind its brilliant history, and Jang Kyu-ri plays "Tae Chohee," the second-in-command of Yeonhee University's cheering squad "Teyia." It will premiere on October 3rd.
