Introduction

SF9 is a nine-member boy group that debuted under FNC Entertainment. They were part of FNC’s “NEOZ Scholl” program and competed in the survival show “d.o.b (Dance or Band)” as the NEOZ Dance Team. They made their debut on October 5, 2016, with their first single “Feeling Sensation” after winning the survival show d.o.b (Dance or Band). The name SF9 means “Sensational Feeling 9”.

On March 2, 2021, all nine members of SF9 renewed their contracts with FNC Entertainment. The following month, they joined five other K-pop boy groups in “Kingdom: Legendary War”.

On September 8, FNC Entertainment released a statement that Rowoon will not be participating in SF9 activities to focus on his own. On September 18, 2023, FNC announced on their official fan cafe that Rowoon had left the group to focus on his acting and solo activities.

On January 11, it was announced that Zuho signed an exclusive contract with the agency Haewadal Entertainment for his solo activities as an actor while he would remain as part of SF9.
