Entertainment company JYP Entertainment launches a new boy group in the final episode of Nizi Project Season 2 with the final debut members and team name, NEXZ. The group name NEXZ or Next Z(G)eneration was created by JYP's representative producer and judge Park Jin-young. The name represents its members as the next generation to present new music and performances.
“I hope NEXZ will open the future of the new generation,” said Park as he explained the reason for the group name. NEXZ comprises members Tomoya, Haru, Yuuki, Ken, Yu, Yuhi, and Seita. They are recognized for their sincerity, dancing, singing, and star quality.
As the members wrapped up their journey on the Nizi Project, the group said: “We will continue to do our best to achieve our dream of becoming the best artist in the world. As you gave us a great opportunity, we will show you how we develop to meet your expectations."
NEXZ will appear as a guest on Japan's Nihon TV on December 18.
