On December 6th, YG Entertainment announced, "We have completed the board of directors' resolution on the signing of exclusive group contracts for all four members of BLACKPINK, our artist."
BLACKPINK has been discussing the renewal of their exclusive contracts with the agency since the contract period expired last August. During this process, they have decided to maintain group activities, but individual contracts for each member have still not been decided. There are rumors that two members, one of them being Lisa, have decided to leave YG Entertainment but nothing has been confirmed.
With BLACKPINK's official renewal as a girl group, expectations are high for their next activities as a top global act.
