On November 13th, Korean media outlets reported that Girl's Day's Hyeri and Actor Ryu Jun Yeol have broken up, six years after going public with their relationship.
Hyeri's agency, Creative Group ING told Newsen Korea, "It is true that she broke up with Ryu Jun-yeol." Meanwhile, the actor's agency also released an official statement to the same outlet, saying, "It is true that he and Hyeri have broken up."
Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol both starred in the global hit drama "Reply 1988" in 2015. In August 2017, were revealed to be dating, much to the joy of fans who rooted for their chemistry in the said drama.
With the confirmation of their breakup, fans can only express their sadness through social media.
