JYP Entertainment's New Girl Group VCHA Reveals "Y.O.Universe" M/V

New girl group VCHA releases pre-debut single and tops YouTube's worldwide trending list!



JYP Entertainment's new girl group VCHA consists of six members selected through the survival show "A2K" (America2Korea) which was a joint project between the agency and Republic Records. On September 22nd, "A2K" uploaded their 22nd episode on YouTube, concluding with the announcement of the six winning trainees who will make their official debut as members of VCHA. And to commemorate the group's creation, they released the pre-debut single "SeVit (NEW LIGHT)" together with the title song "Y.O.Universe."

Moreover, the music video for "Y.O.Universe" topped the worldwide trending list, surpassing 1.71 million views on YouTube. It also ranked 5th in the U.S., 7th in Brazil, and 8th in Canada, and ranked in 33 regions around the world.

In addition, the final episode of "A2K" (22nd episode), which aired on the 22nd, ranked 6th in YouTube Trending in the U.S. and the video of VCHA's appearance on "Music Bank", the first stage of VCHA's pre-debut, also ranked 11th, showing VCHA's first step toward the global pop market.

"Y.O.Universe" is described as an uptempo pop song with the "A2K" series and the story of girls and the message "We're all special because we're different." Park Jin-young and Cirkut, the producer of the 65th Grammy-winning Sam Smith "Unholy," participated in the songwriting and composing. The music video also expressed the story of the six members of VCHA and their desire to reach their dreams.
