Big Hit Music Declares Legal Action Against Slander and False Information Targeting BTS

Big Hit Music, the agency of the group BTS, declared legal action against malicious slander and the spread of false information.

On the 28th, Big Hit Music, the agency of BTS, said through the fan communication platform Weverse, “Recently, we have detected several organized movements to defame and slander BTS,” adding, “Along with this, malicious slander and the creation of rumors against BTS...Spreading false information, senseless insults, and ridicule are going too far.”

The company then warned, “We determine that this matter is a serious infringement on the reputation of BTS, and in addition to the existing regular legal response, we plan to appoint a separate law firm to take strict action.”

In addition, “Currently, malicious posts directed at BTS are becoming evidence through real-time monitoring and collection. “We will respond strongly to the suspects by applying the principle of leniency and zero tolerance without agreement,” he said.
