According to a chart preview article released on the 7th (local time), "Hope on the Street" recorded 50,000 album units during the chart aggregation period.
The Billboard 200 calculates album consumption by adding traditional album sales such as physical albums, streaming count (SEA) to album sales, and digital music download count (TEA) to album sales. J-Hope's new report recorded 44,000 album sales, 4,000 SEA and 2,000 TEA, respectively.
It's his highest entry with a solo album!
The 5th place on Billboard 200 is the highest ranking of J-Hope, which is higher than the 6th place recorded by his official first solo album "Jack In The Box." The agency Big Hit Music explained, "J-Hope has become the only K-pop solo artist to have two works in a row to make it into the top 10 on Billboard 200."
Both BTS as a the group and the members as solo are shining with their own works!
