PENTAGON’s Wooseok Releases Solo Comeback MV “Navy Blue”

The highly anticipated return of PENTAGON’s maknae Wooseok finally happened, and fans are beyond satisfied with his comeback.

Wooseok recently released the music video for his solo debut “Navy Blue,” an indie rock-sounding track that gives you that nostalgic feel as if it was a song coming out from the late 90s to early 2000s. Although known to many fans as PENTAGON's main rapper, it was a pleasant surprise to hear Wooseok’s captivating vocals.

One commenter said, “I'm speechless… the singing tone is too good. It's a song that deserves to be known by the whole world.

And another, “A rapper who sings so well, produces masterpiece songs, raps flawlessly, dances perfectly, so handsome."

The video showed a lone Wooseok with a guitar while being surrounded by grand and magnificent mountains.

Wooseok is the lyricist and composer of Navy Blue. He worked with producers Siixk Jun and Swimgood on the track.

Navy Blue is part of Empty Paper, his solo debut single album. It features another track, Sketch, also written and composed by Wooseok. Empty Paper was released by UNDFND.

A fan on Reddit says this about Wooseok’s new tracks, “Given his track record we knew his solo debut wouldn't disappoint, but it's even better than I hoped. Navy Blue is an immediately catchy but still somehow mellow indie rock track, while Sketch is a gorgeous acoustic slow jam rock ballad. Please give this giant baby all the love he deserves. Do not let another second go by without this musical genius in your life.

On February 24 and 25, Wooseok held his first fan meeting at the Nodeul Live House.

Wooseok debuted with PENTAGON on October 10, 2016. Along with fellow PENTAGON members, Yeo One, Yanan, Yuto, and Kino, Wooseok decided not to renew his contract with Cube Entertainment upon its expiration on October 9, 2023.

In 2024, Wooseok, signed an exclusive contract with Undefined Entertainment. Fans are continuing to look forward to his future releases and activities.
