On July 8th, fans were shocked when rumors surfaced about HyunA and Yong Junhyung's wedding plans, seven months since making their relationship public. On the same day, both of the artists' agencies confirmed the pair's wedding plans.
HyunA's agency said, "HyunA and Yong Junhyung, who have been a great comfort to each other during difficult times, have promised to get married after falling in love," adding, "They will hold a ceremony with close friends in October and start a new life. We thank everyone who has always supported her with warm eyes, and we ask for your blessings for HyunA's future as she has made a big decision as an artist and as a person."
Junhyung's agency also announced, "Yong Junhyung and HyunA have decided to hold a wedding with close friends in October with deep affection and trust for each other," and "We would be grateful if you would send your affectionate interest and congratulations to Yong Junhyung, who is starting a new chapter in his life as a married couple."
The two have a long history, having worked together under Cube Entertainment when they were both members of 4Minute and B2ST, respectively. The couple became a hot topic early this year when they surprisingly revealed their romantic relationship through Instagram.
