MONSTA X’s SHOWNU x HYUNGWON released a cover of 2PM's 'I Hate You' as the second installment of Spotify's K-Pop ON! First Crush series.
A performance video featuring Shownu and Hyungwon was released on YouTube, while the track is available on Spotify as of today.
The cover was most likely recorded and filmed before Hyungwon enlisted in the military on November 14, 2023.
Spotify typically releases artist interviews following releases such as this, so fans are keeping their fingers crossed that one featuring Hyungwon was also prepared in advance.
Meanwhile, Shownu will make his musical debut on March 26 at Seoul's Universal Arts Center as one of the cast of the production of 'The Great Comet.'
SHOWNU X HYUNGWON debuted on July 25, 2023, as the first official sub-unit of MONSTA X.
