Former T-ARA Member Lee Areum was hospitalized on Wednesday following an alleged suicide attempt, according to reports by local media.
An assumed suicide note was found before she attempted to take her own life. She was found and taken to a hospital for treatment.
Her current boyfriend, Mr. A., shared that the former idol remains unconscious after the attempt. On SNS, he posted, “Thank you to Areum’s fans and officials for contacting me with concern and encouragement. Please refrain from making unnecessary or weird contact requests. Please be proper. A person is in pain and unconscious… Please… refrain, I beg of you. I pray that Areum will be okay.”
Areum previously shared detailed accounts and disturbing images showing injuries resulting from her ex-husband’s abuse towards her and her child.
