Jiheon, a member of the group fromis_9, will miss the stage due to abdominal pain.
Pledis Entertainment, the agency of fromis_9, said on May 21, "Baek Jiheon showed symptoms of abdominal pain and went to the hospital today. Due to medical staff's opinion that she needs rest, she will not be able to attend "Korea On Stage - New Generation" today. We ask for your understanding."
"We plan to put the artist's health first and run the schedule. We will do our best to treat and recover the artist so that Baek Jiheon can meet fans in good health," they added.
Jiheon was originally scheduled to participate in the "Korea On Stage - New Generation" performance at the Heungryemun Square in Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul later in the day. Due to abdominal pain, the members will perform without her.
Meanwhile, fromis_9 has confirmed its appearance at the "Water Bomb 2024 National Tour" in Seoul (July 5), and Incheon (August 3), starting with the "Weverse Con Festival" (June 16).
"We are preparing for the comeback without a hitch. We will showcase various activities including music and special photo exhibitions this year," Pledis Entertainment said. "We will provide the necessary support to this end."
