SEVENTEEN's Best Album "17 IS RIGHT HERE" Sales Are Close to 3 Million

Group SEVENTEEN has set another new record with their best album.

According to the Hanteo Chart, Seventeen sold 2,967,937 copies of their best album in the week since its release on April 29. This is the highest initial sales of K-pop best albums in the history of Hanteo Chart (the first week of sales immediately after its release).

This marks a new milestone in the history of Korean pop music, following the record of the "first-ever No. 1 K-pop album" (5,091,887) that was set by SEVENTEEN with its 11th mini album last year. "17 IS RIGHT HERE" was already a double million seller on the day of its release. Considering the characteristics of the best album, which is a collection of popular hit songs, this achievement is even more unusual, proving once again that SEVENTEEN is the best K-pop group.

It's the best selling album of the year currently!

Global popularity is also hot. "17 IS RIGHT HERE" topped Japan's Oricon Daily Album Rankings (April 30th - May 4th) for five consecutive days, and also topped the music charts of Line Top 100 albums. The album went straight to No. 2 on iTunes' Worldwide Albums chart right after its release, and has been at the top of the charts ever since.

"MAESTRO," the title song of the best album, ranked at the top of major domestic music charts such as Melon, Genie, and Bugs, and topped the iTunes "Top Song" chart in 32 countries/regions around the world, achieving the top spot in the worldwide song chart. Unit new songs on the best album are also evenly loved, having successfully entered major domestic and international charts.

The compilation album has broken BTS's "Proof" as the highest first week sales on Hanteo for a best album.

Meanwhile, Seventeen continued its popularity by releasing additional music videos of the "MAESTRO" performance version on its HYBE Labels YouTube channel and the team's official SNS at midnight. Encore tours will also continue at the mega stadium in Japan. They will hold "SEVENTEEN TOUR 'FOLLOW' AGAIN" at Yanma Stadium in Osaka from the 18th to the 19th and Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa from the 25th to the 26th and meet their fans.
