Hyuna and Former BEAST Member Yong Junhyung Tie The Knot On October 10

On October 10th, this year's most controversial couple finally married at a small, intimate outdoor ceremony. Some of the couple's friends shared clips and photos of the ceremony on Instagram that showed Hyuna walking down the aisle, all smiles as she walked towards her now husband, Yong Junhyung.

Several high-profile people from the industry also attended the wedding such as Jo Kwon from 2am, Kahi from After School, HA:TFELT, Yunho from TVXQ, and Uhm Jung Hwa to show support towards the newlyweds.

The attendance of these people and the wedding itself, however, was met with a lot of backlash from K-pop fans.

Junhyung was notably involved in the infamous Burning Sun scandal back in 2019 where he admitted to having received videos that were taken without consent from Jung Joon Young. Because of this, a lot of K-pop fans were disappointed when Hyuna, a famous Korean soloist and feminist icon, launched her relationship with Junhyung back in January this year.

Hyuna was also fresh out of a relationship with her long-term partner and ex-fiance, Dawn. Allegedly, Hyuna broke off their engagement because "she wasn't ready for marriage" yet. Fans pointed this out and said that if this was the case, how was she suddenly ready to get married to Junhyung less than a year later?
