G-Dragon has recently revealed that he has been working on a new album and will release it in the latter half of 2024, and fans have been looking forward to his return since then. It has been around seven years since his last album release with his 2nd EP 'Kwon Ji Yong' back in 2017.
On October 8th, South Korean media outlet 'News 1' released exclusive coverage of G-Dragon's upcoming solo comeback. They have also reported that G-Dragon's comeback date will be on the 25th and that the singer is currently in the final stages of preparations.
With fans anticipating G-Dragon's comeback, another news outlet 'Style', reported that the singer started filming the music video for his comeback song on the evening of October 7th. They also added that the MV shoot will last for three days.
However, on the same day, G-Dragon's agency 'Galaxy Corporation' released an official statement in response to the comeback date rumors. We are currently coordinating the comeback date. Nothing has been confirmed regarding the comeback on the 25th.
G-Dragon, who took some time away from the spotlight, has recently delighted fans with his surprise appearance at fellow Big Bang member Taeyang's solo concert. He also sang and enjoyed on stage for the first time in a while, together with fellow members Taeyang and Daesung.
Earlier this month, it was also reported that G-Dragon had finished recording for the hit tvN show 'You Quiz on the Block'. He is scheduled to appear as a guest and it will be his first TV show appearance in a long time, which is why fans have been looking forward to his upcoming return to the music and variety scene.
Meanwhile, rumors have also circulated about Big Bang performing as a full group at the upcoming Mnet 'MAMA Awards' by the end of 2024. Although Mnet has stated Nothing has been decided yet,
