The pre-orders for SEVENTEEN's 12th mini-album 'SPILL THE FEELS' have exceeded 3 million copies.
According to YG Plus, the album distributor for 'SPILL THE FEELS', they have recorded 3,088,395 copies as of yesterday. Such a massive feat was achieved just two weeks after the start of the pre-order period, which has once again proved SEVENTEEN's extreme popularity among the buying masses.
What's even more astonishing with the pre-order figures is the fact that the group has not released the song titles for the album yet. Pledis Entertainment is scheduled to release various promotional content starting on September 30th, including a track sampler, tracklist, highlight medley, and official teasers. With this, the current pre-order sales are expected to increase further.
SEVENTEEN, who recently released their best album '17 IS RIGHT HERE', achieved triple million sales and immediately went to the top of Circle Chart's first-half album chart. Following their 'Maestro' comeback, the special sub-unit of Jeonghan x Wonwoo also successfully released their first single 'THIS MAN', which further solidified their album sales. In just the first half of 2024, they have already sold over 5.32 million albums.
With the whooping number of pre-orders, we can already see the interest for 'SPILL THE FEELS'. Will SEVENTEEN be able to continue their '10 Million Artist' reputation and surpass 10 million album sales for two consecutive years?
Meanwhile, with the released information for 'SPILL THE FEELS' so far, it is an album that delivers the message of 'trusting each other, sharing emotions, and resolving concern', and will be released on October 14. SEVENTEEN is expected to show a more evolved side of themselves as artists through stories that everyone, especially their fans, can relate to. For their upcoming activities, members will promote without two members, Jeonghan and Jun. Jeonghan is currently serving in the military and Jun will be focusing on his acting activities in China in the meantime.
The group will also commence their 'SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR' on October 12-13 at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium. They will have 27 stops in 14 different cities around the world, including the US, Japan, and Asia.
