Kepler Xiaoting Parts Ways with Her Chinese Agency 'TOPCLASS ENTERTAINMENT' After Contract Ends

On the 1st, Kep1er Xiaoting posted a long message on her personal account to announce the expiration of her contract with her chinese agency 'TOPCLASS Entertainment'.



In 2021, Xiaoting participated in the MNET survival show Girls Planet 999, where she finished 9th place, securing her spot as a member of the South Korean project girl group Kep1er.




Xiaoting debuted as a member of Kep1er on January 3, 2022, with their first mini-album "First Impact" and the title track "WA DA DA."

Xiaoting said, "My contract with Top Class Entertainment has expired," and added, "I thank my agency and everyone who has supported and helped me."

She continued, "I am most grateful to my fans. They have given me great strength during difficult times," and added, "I am not perfect, but I believe that if I always do my best, I will become a better person every day. I hope that whatever dreams I or you have in the future will all be possible."

Xiaoting also wrote, "A new year, a new chapter has opened. I look forward to the journey of looking at the world and finding myself. Let's start again together."

Last year, Kepler was the first survival project group to successfully renew its contract, and is continuing activities as a seven-member group excluding Mashiro and Kang Ye-seo.



However, Kepler's agency Wake One and Klap Entertainment announced late last year that "after sufficient communication with Xiaoting's original agency, we have finally discussed that Xiaoting will do more individual activities in China in December," and that Xiaoting will not be participating in Kepler's activities in December, causing regret because she didn't participated in in their december fansigns.

In the meantime, the news of the end of the exclusive contract with the original agency has increased the possibility of XIAOTING resuming activities with KEP1ER.
