BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON, formerly B.A.P, is a four-member boy group under MA Entertainment. Originally six members, they debuted on January 26, 2012, with "Warrior." The group disbanded in February 2019 after members chose not to renew their contracts with TS Entertainment.
B.A.P reformed as a four-member group in June 2024, with Yongguk, Daehyun, Youngjae, and Jongup, and announced their comeback with the EP Curtain Call on August 8.
Pre-debut, leader Yongguk collaborated with Song Ji Eun and debuted solo in 2011 before forming the duo Bang & Zelo. In January 2012, the reality show "Ta-Dah, It's B.A.P" aired, showcasing their journey to debut.
B.A.P's debut song "Warrior" featured a tough bad-boy image, contrasting the K-pop norm, landing them on Billboard's World Albums Chart at #10. They followed up with "Power" and several mini albums, including "No Mercy" and "Badman."
In 2014, they released their first full-length album, First Sensibility, and toured globally. In November 2014, they filed a lawsuit against TS Entertainment for unfair contracts, returning to the agency in August 2015 after a settlement.
B.A.P continued releasing music, including the albums Matrix, Carnival, and Noir. In 2017 and 2018, they released several singles and Japanese albums before disbanding in 2019.
In 2024, they announced a comeback as BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON with a documentary "Man on the Moon" and an EP Curtain Call. A fan concert is scheduled for August 17 and 18.
