TO1 (Korean: 티오원; Japanese: ティオワン), formerly known as TOO (티오오) was a nine-member boy group managed by WAKEONE. They were formed through the survival show World Klass and officially debuted on April 1, 2020, with their first mini album "Reason for Being: Benevolence." Their name is an acronym for "TOgether as 1".
The group originally debuted with 10 members and they were managed by n.CH Entertainment with production and marketing by Stone Music Entertainment.
On March 20, it was announced that the group will join Mnet's reality television competition Road to Kingdom. They were the second group eliminated in the seventh episode.
On January 13, CJ ENM and n.CH Entertainment were involved in management disputes, where CJ ENM reportedly terminated their management contract with n.CH Entertainment. One day later, n.CH Entertainment responded to the disputes by stating that their contract had not been formally signed for months and that no expenses had been paid since August 2020.
It was announced on March 28, 2021, that the group had changed its name from TOO to TO1.
TO1 made their re-debut with their first EP Re:Born on May 20, with the title track "Son of Beast". The group was confirmed to be managed under CJ ENM's music label, WAKEONE.
On April 30, 2022, Wake One Entertainment released an official statement via TO1's fan cafe, announcing member Chihoon's departure from the group. A few days later, the agency announced that the group would halt all activities due to re-organization.
On June 17, 2022, WAKEONE announced through TO1's official fan cafe that members Minsu, Jerome, and Woonggi had left TO1. This also comes with adding Renta, Daigo, and Yeojeong to the group.
On September 22, member Renta announced through a post on his Instagram account containing a letter in both Korean and Japanese that he would be leaving TO1.
On December 17, WAKEONE announced that all members decided not to renew their contracts with the agency. Their contracts will end on December 31.
