H.U.B was a five-member girl group under New Planet Entertainment, now known as Campus Entertainment. The group's name stands for Hope U Bounce.
Before the official debut of H.U.B, member Rui made her solo debut on August 17, 2016, with the single "Exciting." Initially, the group comprised four members: Keina, Gracie, Rui, and Yeum. They released the pre-release single "Our Time Together" on November 24, 2016, and officially debuted with the single "Girl Gang"/"Girl in Black" on February 9, 2017. This debut single was written, composed, and arranged by Yeum and choreographed by Gracie and Keina, though it did not have a music video.
On May 31, 2017, it was announced that Hyosun, a former contestant on Produce 101 and a member of Kiwi Band under the stage name Ellie, would join the group. The following day, on June 1, they released their third digital single "Ooh Ooh," although Hyosun did not participate in this comeback.
On April 6, 2018, it was announced that original members Gracie, Yuem, and Keina had left the group. They were replaced by new members Yehin, Seoryeong, and Chehee, who had appeared on popular shows like JTBC's 'Mix Nine' and KBS2's 'The Unit.' The new members made their official debut with the group on April 8, 2018, through a V-Live on their official channel, followed by their first comeback with the new lineup on April 16, 2018, with the fourth digital single "When A Blossom Day Of Cherry Blossom." The group made their final comeback on November 9, 2018, with the fifth digital single "Finale."
H.U.B has been inactive since early March 2019, and member Hyosun confirmed that the group disbanded around that time.
