izna is a 7-member upcoming girl group under WakeOne. They were formed through Mnet's survival show I-LAND2 N/a. The group is a collaboration between WakeOne and producer Teddy Park and his agency The Black Label.
I-LAND2 N/a premiered on April 18, 2024, and the live finale was broadcast on July 4, 2024, where the top 7 winners became a girl group named izna. The group was chosen by taking the 5 most voted by I-MATE: Choi Jungeun, Bang Jeemin, Yoon Jiyoon, Koko, Ryu Sarang, and 2 producers picks: Mai, and Jeong Saebi.
Out of the top 7 winners, Jeemin was previously a contestant in the survival show R U NEXT?, while Jungeun participated in the survival show CAP-TEEN.
izna will hold their first performance as a group at KCON LA on July 28, 2024.
