ChaeY (채이), formerly known as Chaeyeon, is a South Korean singer and lyricist. She was member and maknae of the girl group CRAXY (formerly known as Wish Girls) under SAI Entertainment.
Through the 2018 winter project "Wish For You" from S.A ITAINMENTS, ChaeY was first presented as a trainee together with Karin and four other trainees who have since then left the company. She was known by her birth name Chaeyeon in the group until April 2019. She debuted under her stage name ChaeY on April 11.
The music video for her pre-debut solo single "Sixteen" was made available on August 30, 2019 which featured Woo-ah, Karin and Swan.
On July 31, 2023, ChaeY left CRAXY due to the company’s decision.
