Jung Chae Yeon (정채연) is a South Korean Singer and Actress under MBK Entertainment. She is currently the Lead Dancer, Visual, and Face of the girl group DIA. Chaeyeon rose to fame from appearing in the hit survival show Produce 101 and ranking 7th, earning her a spot in the girl group IOI.

On September 14, 2015, she debuted as a member of the girl group DIA with the release of their first studio album Do It Amazing.

In 2016, she became a contestant on Mnet's new survival reality show Produce 101, alongside fellow member Huihyeon. She finished the survival in 7th place, thus becoming a member of the project girl group I.O.I.

On May 4, 2016, I.O.I debuted with the mini album Chrysalis, and its title track, "Dream Girls".

On June 30, 2016 she made her acting debut in tvN's Drinking Solo.
