Sungchan is a South Korean rapper under SM Entertainment. He is a member of the upcoming boy group RIIZE and a former member of the boy group NCT and its sub-unit NCT U.
On September 21, 2020, it was announced that Sungchan and Shotaro would debut in NCT with the Album NCT Resonance Pt. 1 on October 12. He was introduced in a V live broadcast on September 23.
On May 24, 2023, SM announced Sungchan's departure from NCT to join their new boy group, set to debut in 2023.
On August 1, 2023, he was revealed as a member of RIIZE. Their debut single album "Get A Guitar" was released on September 4, 2023.
