Former AOA Member Jimin To Reportedly Participate in JTBC's Survival Show

Former AOA member Jimin to reportedly restart her activities in the entertainment world.

"The Second World" is an audition program in which K-pop girl group rappers compete fiercely for songs. The main rappers of the eight teams participating in the competition will perform as singers, not members of the group, according to the theme of each round.

On August 1, JTBC confirmed that singer Paul Kim has been selected as the MC for "The Second World."

Prior to the main broadcast, the first round of music will be pre-released through the Naver NOW application from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and global voting will begin. After listening to the sound source containing the first song of the eight artists, you can vote for the two people who sang the most memorable song. The results of the vote will be reflected in determining the finalist by adding up the judges' scores later.

After the news of the program's launch was announced on the same day, it was rumored that Jimin, a former member of the group AOA, will appear. In 2020, Jimin left AOA and stopped working in the entertainment industry after former AOA member Kwon Mina accused her of bullying.

The production team of "Second World" has yet to officially confirm Jimin's appearance.
