Former AOA Leader Jimin Comes Out of Retirement + Signs with Alo Malo Entertainment
On July 14th, ALO MALO Entertainment announced that they signed an exclusive contract with Shin Jimin. Along with it, they released Shin Jimin's new profile image which showed the artist in a dark set background.
Shin Jimin also expressed, "I'm excited to greet you at my new home. I had a lot of thoughts and time to reflect on myself. I'm still cautious, but I try to take it one step at a time. Please keep an eye on me in the future.”
Shin Jimin made her official debut on August 9, 2012 as the leader of the girl group AOA under FNC Entertainment. She gained attention for her participation in the reality rap show "Unpretty Rapstar" and eventually appeared in several variety shows. On July 4, 2020, FNC Entertainment announced Jimin's departure from the group after former member Mina's bullying allegations towards her.
