Former IZ*ONE Members Hitomi and Nako Reportedly Joining 'Queendom Puzzle' + Mnet Responds

Former IZ*ONE Members Hitomi and Nako Reportedly Joining 'Queendom Puzzle' + Mnet Responds

On April 19th, Korean media outlets reported that former IZ*ONE members Hitomi and Nako are making an attempt to re-debut in South Korea through Mnet's upcoming survival program, 'Queendom Puzzle.'

'Queendom Puzzle' is a program that continues the 'Queendom' and 'Queendom 2' series that started in 2019. However, unlike the previous seasons, 'Queendom Puzzle' will be based on individual female artists or members, not groups. Participants will undergo a performance competition to secure their positions in a global project girl group.

Hitomi and Nako are Japanese singers who joined Produce 48 in 2018 and eventually debuted as members of the now-disbanded project girl group IZ*ONE.

Meanwhile, on the same day, Mnet responded to the reports about Hitomi and Nako's participation in the show, saying, "The overall casting is in progress, so it is difficult to tell."

The official lineup of artists will be revealed in May, while the show is expected to air in June.
