ALO MALO Entertainment told Xsports News on the 18th, "The exclusive contract with Shin Jimin has ended. We decided to support each other and go our separate ways."

Previously, Shin Jimin debuted as a girl group AOA in 2012 and received a lot of love. However, a controversy spread as she was pointed out as the bullying perpetrator of her former member Kwon Mina in 2019. On July 2020, Jimin left the group due to the bullying scandal and self-reflected by terminating the contract with FNC Entertainment.

After two years, Shin Jimin made a comeback by appearing on JTBC's 'Second World', signing an exclusive contract with ALO MALO Entertainment, and worked as a solo singer. She also released her first single, 'BOXES', in February of this year. However, on the 18th, it was announced by the agency that the contract with Jimin had ended.
