Yuju Shares the GFRIEND Members Are Always Supporting Her

Singer Yuju mentioned the difference between her activities as a solo singer and her group activities.

Yuju said at the showcase for the release of her second mini-album "O" at Spigen Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 7th, "It's different from when I worked on the album as GFRIEND and now."

"When I make a solo album, there is no place that I can't reach. It's a process of melting me as I am. There are advantages and disadvantages. It's not that easy. I wonder if this is right as I do it, but in the end, I felt that it was really different from when I released an album as a group."

She also expressed her honest feelings that she feels proud of her growth as a solo singer. Yuju said, "Proudness is an emotion that comes from such a small thing. I feel good when I record a song well right away, and I feel proud of my work when the lyrics I wrote are not bad even for me. After singing, she said, "It was okay." I just said, 'When I think about this, I think I feel a lot of pride."

In addition, she still boasted a strong friendship with GFRIEND members. Yuju said, "The members are always supporting me. When the highlight medley was released not long ago I'm already doing well enough to get a call saying, 'My favorite song is this.'"

Yuju's "O" is a new release in 14 months, and it unravels the situations and emotions she has experienced under the theme of "travel." It contains a total of five songs, including the title song "Without U."
