Choi Jisu, known under her stage name Lia, is a South Korean singer-songwriter and composer under JYP Entertainment. She is best known as the main vocalist of the girl group ITZY.
On January 20, 2019, Lia was revealed, along with her fellow members, as a member of ITZY. They debuted on February 12 with the digital single "IT'z Different". On February 12, 2019, she graduated from School of Performing Arts Seoul.
In September 2023, JYP Entertainment announced that Lia would be taking a hiatus due to anxiety. She didn't participate in the production and promotion of the group's second studio album "Born to Be" and that she also wouldn't be participating in their upcoming world tour.
In July 2024, JYP Entertainment announced that Lia would be returning from hiatus and participating in ITZY's upcoming album scheduled for the second half of the year.
