BTOB's Yook Sungjae, DIA's Chaeyeon, & former MOMOLAND member Yeonwoo captivate in casting for new drama.
On August 23rd, MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "Golden Spoon" (literal title) unveiled the group poster with the full force of their cast, which includes BTOB's Yook Sungjae, DIA's Jung Chaeyeon, and Yeonwoo, formerly of MOMOLAND.
MBC's new Friday and Saturday drama "Golden Spoon," which is scheduled to premiere at 9:50 p.m. on September 23rd, is based on a popular Naver webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of the adventures of a kid born into a poor family who reverses his fortunes and swaps lives with a friend born into a wealthy family using a magical golden spoon he happens upon.
Yook Sungjae plays Lee Seungchun, the kid born into a low-income family. Jung Chaeyeon stars as Na Joohee, a chaebol's daughter who dreams of her own golden spoon to pursue a normal life. Yeonwoo, meanwhile, takes the role of Oh Yeojin.
"Golden Spoon" is expected to bring change in relationships as the characters' various emotions are intertwined in the struggle over their desires.
"Golden Spoon" is scheduled to premiere at 9:50 p.m. on September 23rd.
